My feedback for Mr Hanyu, is that he was really good at helping me through worksheets. My feedback for Mr Enrico is that he has very helpful in depth notes that really helped during revision, he is also really good at teaching and explaining topics and took the time to answer my questions online even when I couldn’t get a slot to see him in person. When I began lessons with Ms. Lyn, I had received an E in English Literature and a C in English Language in my mock exams, just two months before my IGCSEs. Despite the limited time, her teaching helped me achieve an A in English Literature and a B in English Language. Ms. Lyn’s explanations of essay structures and formats were clear and easy to follow. Whenever I struggled, she patiently reinforced the concepts until I fully understood them. She also introduced a structured approach to essay writing, which greatly simplified the process and proved effective in exams. Additionally, she provided extra past papers in every lesson, ensuring I had the necessary practice to improve. I would not have been able to achieve such results without her guidance. I started lessons with Mr. Lee halfway through Grade 9, struggling with Chemistry and feeling lost in the subject, often getting Bs. My understanding was poor, and I often felt confused, but Mr. Lee always found a way to help me grasp the concepts and reinforce them in my memory. Whether it took two or three explanations, he patiently broke down the material until I understood it fully. Five weeks before my IGCSE exams, Mr. Lee printed years’ worth of past papers for me to practice each week. During our lessons, he went through my mistakes, helping me improve steadily. I am incredibly grateful for his encouragement whenever I got a question wrong or felt frustrated with difficult concepts. Mr. Lee supported me tremendously in my IGCSE preparation, even offering Mindlab as a space for me to study whenever I wanted. He made Mindlab feel like a safe and welcoming environment for me and my siblings, turning learning into an enjoyable experience rather than a daunting task.
