Hello!! This is a testimonial about how Ms Lyn's English classes helped me. Ms Lyn's lessons really played a huge role in helping me grow in confidence and discipline. I'm incredibly thankful that she pushed me to work harder and aim higher. She always encouraged me to submit at least two essays every lesson, which forced me to sit down and actually do work that I wouldn't have done otherwise. Through using her pointers and essay structure especially for Paper 2, I was able to achieve a 6 for IB, something I had only dreamed of after getting consistent 4s my entire 2 year IB course. My son adores Ms Siti! He finds that she's the best among of all his teachers. Ms Siti genuinely cares for her student and encourages him a lot. We expected 2 or 3 in his Maths but we got a 4 in Maths which we are very happy with. If not for Ms Siti, my son would have lost all interest in Maths. My final IB grade for English SL was a 5. Ms. Lyn helped me with all aspects of the IB English course, with specific help in structuring and making concise arguments in Paper 2, to learning how to properly analyse visual and literary text types in Paper 1. Her strong determination to never give up on me was the sole reason I was able to write my weekly homework essays to submit to her, and she gave me the drive to work towards increasing my grades after getting a 4 on my IO during Grade 11. Her passionate classes also helped with making me clear with my goal and her feedback was always very sharp and informative. Final Grade: 5

I did ad hoc class with Ms Lyn a few months before my IGCSE english exam. I was not doing too well in english only scoring a B most of the times in class. My goal was to achieve an A for IGCSE English and Mrs Lyn gave me the confidence to do so through her classes where I learnt a lot of content quickly and could tell she was very experienced. She is also very patient and would even spend extra time outside of lessons to help you. Final Grade: A
